Zicuirán New Generation drug cartel: the armed wing of the “Mencho” announced its arrival in Michoacán (near the capital of Mexico).
They released a threatening video of government forces, barring security forces from appearing in threatened areas of death.

In a video on social media, armed individuals identified as members of the Zicuirán Nueva Generación Cartel announced their arrival in the municipality of La Huacana, in Michoacán.
In the recording, more than 30 subjects covered with arms and long weapons are observed: “We give a respectful warning to the Armed Forces, especially the Mexican Army, to refrain from invading La Huacana and our area that is perfectly delimited by our boys “Says one of the men reading the message.
“Military component that we manage to capture by walking without permission in our area, will be returned in a reasonable time,” he stresses.
The message, by itself challenging, generates controversy because the alleged criminals openly address the president, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, the governor of Michoacán, Silvano Aureoles and the head of the Ministry of Public Security, Alfonso Durazo.
“Any aircraft that flies over without our permission will be shot down. Any units that enter will be held and burned. We are not self-government, but we want to demonstrate that with our finances and business we can excel. Do not bother trying to intervene the police and the local government, they are our property, ”warns the subject.
The threat comes after the Mexican president ordered that the Army take control of public security until 2024 with the National Guard.
