The Yemeni military forces media broadcast footage of the country’s air defenses shooting down a US Scan Eagle-type spy plane in Al-Mushajah area airspace in the Sirwah district of Marib governorate.
Earlier, the spokesman for the armed forces, Brigadier General Yahya Sari announced that his country’s air defenses managed to shoot down a US spy plane, Scan Eagle, with a surface-to-air missile, while carrying out hostile acts in Al-Mushajah in Sirwah district of Marib governorate airspace.
Sari noted that the military forces media outlets documented the operation, and that the scenes of the attack and the wreckage will be broadcast at a later time.
“The armed forces affirm that they will spare no effort to fulfill their responsibilities to protect Yemeni airspace and face all hostilities,” he added.
