Watch FANB’s AMX-13 French light tank modified six-gun
The Venezuelan Army is making progress in the recovery and modernization of its AMX-13 series armor, a process that includes the conversion of some models into demining vehicles. The project is part of the plan for rescue, repair and updating of more than 500 weapons systems carried out by the land component of the Venezuelan National Armed Forces.
The Venezuelan modification of the French AMX-13 light tank fires its six 106mm guns from the 1950s US-made M50 Ontos self-propelled anti-tank gun. In the frontal projection, the tank is complemented by an installed 81mm mortar.
