In evening hours of this Tuesday, February 7, the Ministers of People’s Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, Remigio Ceballos Ichaso; and Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, send a mixed commission of 52 rescue professionals, who are part of the Simón Bolívar Humanitarian Task Force, who will support the search efforts in the affected cities in Türkiye (Turkey) and Syria after the earthquake last Monday.
Minister Ceballos explained that this commission is made up of men and women including technicians, doctors, specialists and dogs trained in Disaster Assistance, as part of the humanitarian support offered by Venezuela after the earthquake that affected Türkiye and Syria.
Foreign Minister Yván Gil also reported that food and medicine are being sent as part of humanitarian aid to both countries.
