The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) are working on comprehensive cooperation agreement development, in order to strengthen the country’s food plans, President Nicolás Maduro reported.
During a productive day, from La Guaira state , the Head of State said that it consists of “a financial-food technical assistance to strengthen Venezuela in this time of sanctions, blockade and economic aggression.”
“We are in talks with the FAO World Food Program,” he said.
In that line and on the occasion of World Food Day, celebrated on Wednesday, Nicolas Maduro mentioned that the Local Supply and Production Committees (CLAP), the School Feeding Program (PAE) and the feeding houses will continue to be strengthened, as well as the food production processes and “care programs of our people, which only Venezuela has”.
