The Bolivarian National Armed Forces FANB, through the integral defense operational zone of the Andes region, begins the “Cacique Murachí” operation. Militant forces and the Bolivarian army are deployed in the fight against the TANCOL (Colombian armed terrorist drug traffickers) in La Region of the Andes one of the political-administrative regions organized in 1969 in Venezuela for its decentralization. As its name indicates, it makes up the Andean states (Trujillo, Mérida and Táchira)
