The sectoral vice president for Communication, Culture and Tourism, Jorge Rodríguez, reiterated the complaint about Leopoldo López, from the Popular Will party, has used Spain diplomatic offices to plan criminal actions and insult a former president of that country.
He reiterated that after years of repeated denunciations made by the National Government, the United States press, specifically the Wall Street Journal, recognizes and points to Leopoldo López as responsible for the mercenary incursion in Venezuela.
Rodríguez questioned whether Spain, which gave asylum to the fugitive from justice, Leopoldo López, agrees that the murders of Venezuelan authorities are debated at his residence. “Does the Government of Spain have something to say about this?” Demanded the sector Vice President, while also asking himself if Spain agrees that a letter be drawn up at his diplomatic headquarters in Venezuela to insult a former president of his Government.
“All the planning elements that led to the armed military incursion were planned at the headquarters of the residence of the Government of Spain,” Jorge Rodríguez denounced this Saturday, after assuring that Venezuela would never allow illegal actions to be planned at its diplomatic headquarters against any country.
The American newspaper The Wall Street Journal revealed in an article published this Friday that López was responsible for months of hiring mercenaries, in order to overthrow the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, plans that included even taking the life of the Chief of State and high officials.
According to the American newspaper, López evaluated up to six proposals from mercenaries and contractors, who would execute different military incursions, to provoke a possible rebellion within the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) and succeed in overthrowing the Venezuelan head of state.
He repudiated that international media corporations are used as part of the high-intensity psychological war against the people of Venezuela and against the legitimate government of President Nicolás Maduro, since they permanently distort, minimize and attack all complaints about conspiracy actions by some factors of the Venezuelan extreme right that persist in resorting to violence, hatred, death, destruction.
He assured that there are countless opportunities in which the Bolivarian Government has shown evidence of these violent actions that are led by Leopoldo López and Juan Guaidó, as instruments of the extreme right-wing of the United States, which pursue two purposes: to steal everything they can and to do with power by violent means and leave a bloodbath on the way.
“Leopoldo López has a revolver pointed on chest at the rest of the G-4(Dialogue table between Chavismo and opposition) : you from violent action don’t move, you cannot participate in any type of elections in Venezuela. His vocation is not democratic, “said Rodríguez.
He noted that Guaidó boycotted all the negotiation efforts that were made in Oslo, Barbados and Venezuela “to seek a consensual and concerted agreement between Chavismo forces and various oppositions in Venezuela, including a humanitarian agreement.”
