Venezuela Asamblea Nacional Special Commission will cite Guaidó, NGOs and media to investigate the use of resources of alleged “humanitarian aid”.
The deputy Juan Guaidó, media and NGOs will be cited by the Special Commission of the National Assembly (AN) installed on Monday, as part of the research carried out on use of resources allocated for alleged humanitarian aid.
The commission is made up of deputies José Brito, Adolfo Superlano, Enrique Márquez, Ilenia Mediana and Ángel Medina.
“This commission must open a justice process that takes into account both the whereabouts of the resources and a formal complaint by the Republic, as well as the patrimonial use of the resources that were used in the supposed humanitarian aid of February 2019,” he said. Brito
In that sense, he announced that this Wednesday at 09:00 a.m. the first meeting of the commission will be held, to comply with the corresponding investigations and unveil corruption plot regarding to the handling of humanitarian aid.
Among those mentioned will be Alejandro Plaza Castillo, founder of the voluntary civil association Súmate, “to explain what the parameter was for an NGO to have access to financing,” he said.
“Many countries made donations for medicines and food which are currently unaccounted for,” said Brito.
