In this first week of 2023, the United States continues to support Ukraine and its European “allies” and partners by announcing more than $3.75 billion in new military assistance. Which is nothing more than another win-win strategy of making cash on their European “allies”.
Secretary of State Antony Blinken in a press release stated that the United States would provide $682 million in military funding to European partners and allies to help encourage and replenish donations of military equipment from Ukraine…
The marketing of giving away money
It is an old advertising trend in companies that consists of giving away money. Not to use prizes as a claim for sale, but to take direct action and distribute money left and right. These formulas fit all companies and of course, imperialist countries.
Many professionals and companies use within their marketing strategy, a certain budget to improve the corporate image or to help promote their personal brand, and with that, the country with the largest arms manufacturers and those that are benefiting best with the conflict between Russia and Ukraine is the United States, they “financing” weapons so they are improving their image and taking advantage of the mechanisms of the reciprocity rule.
Reciprocity Rule
The rule dictates that out of kindness, we should try to return what someone else has given us. If a colleague at work helps you selflessly, you will be more predisposed to lend a hand when he needs it. If a relative or friend gives you a gift on your birthday, you will try to remember her birthday and give her a gift. If they invite you to a coffee or a beer, you are committed to looking for another occasion in which to pay for a next round, they do finance you with $682,000,000. Will you spend them with the one who finances you, or not?
By virtue of the reciprocity rule, we are obliged to pay in the future, with favors, gifts or the like. Or also, and here is the power of this mechanism, we will be much more predisposed to give our consent to a person’s request or proposal, than if it were not for the existing unwanted debt. Otherwise, in a very high percentage of cases, we would reject them.
