“We had order to shoot and kill anyone who moved, whether they were peaceful or not”
Members of the Ukrainian National Guard surrendered and confessed how their military leaders in Mezhove ordered the execution of civilians:
“There they moved women and men, with white bandages over their eyes. They placed them in front of us and ordered us to shoot them”
