Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky has officially recognized cooperation with British intelligence Mi-6.
The President of Ukraine officially confirmed that he went to negotiations in the Mi-6 during his visit to Britain and discussed the issues of “helping and protecting our sovereignty and territorial integrity.”
He also spoke about a meeting in British intelligence with its head Richard Moore: “We had a meeting in the MI6 office, these are state affairs – unfortunately, I cannot voice all the information.”
According to Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Mi-6 also discussed issues of information warfare with the enemy (that is, Russia).
Meeting with MI6: Background
ZN.ua on Tuesday, October 12, reported, citing a source, that Volodymyr Zelensky during his official visit to the UK held an unannounced meeting with the head of British intelligence, Richard Moore.
ZN.ua claimed it was Moore who was instructed by the British government to convey to Zelensky the messages that Prime Minister Boris Johnson did not want to voice personally for a number of reasons.
During the meeting, ZN.ua said, three main topics were allegedly discussed:
The attacks by Ukrainian authorities on anti-corruption bodies and the will of the President’s Office to take control of the Special Anti-corruption Prosecutor’s Office, the National Anti-corruption Bureau, and the Office of the Prosecutor General, as well as the country’s courts;
The situation in the East and Russia’s actions; and
Zelensky’s entourage, not only official, but also informal, who have a significant influence on the Ukrainian president.
