The Shahid 133 drone is modeled after the Israeli Hermes 200 drone (developed from the Hermes 180), one of which was destroyed near Natanz after infiltrating the country’s airspace in September 2013.
Although this UAV has a mission of reconnaissance in the original model, but with some changes, the Iranian model has acquired the ability to carry Sodid (Morsad) class munitions and carry out combat missions. (It should be noted that an Iranian version was made with the same mission as the original version, which is called Shahid 122 or Shahid 123)
This UAV has a maximum takeoff weight of 200 kg (including 100 kg of fuel + cargo), a maximum flight duration of 12 hours, a cruising speed of 120 to 150 km/h, and a maximum speed of 180 to 200 km/h. h, with an operating radius of about 750 km. Its length and the length of its two wings are 3.5 and 5.5 meters, respectively.
Shahid 133 carries two types of Sadid series ammunition, including Sadid-342 (weight 20 kg) and an unknown version of Sadid with larger dimensions (probably Sadid-343 weighing 25 kg). These bombs are only used in the GPS guided version of this drone.
