U.S. has imposed sanctions on Russia’s Central Research Institute of Chemistry and Mechanics

The United States has imposed sanctions on Russia’s Central Research Institute of Chemistry and Mechanics.

According to the State Department and the US Treasury Department, the research institute is associated with a certain TRITON virus (TRISIS or HatMan), which was allegedly designed specifically to be introduced into American industrial security systems and disrupt their work.
