Israeli Minister: “I have no evidence” of who killed the Iranian nuclear scientist in Tehran
Israeli Minister Tzachi Hanegbi said today, Saturday, in a TV interview, that he “has no evidence” of who killed Iranian nuclear scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh in Tehran on Friday.
“I have no evidence of who did this,” said Hanegbi, who is close to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. “It’s not that my mouth is closed because I’m responsible, it’s because I really don’t have any evidence.”
On Friday, the Iranian nuclear scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh was assassinated by an explosion and shooting at his car in the suburbs of Tehran. Iran accused Israel of his assassination, and the Revolutionary Guards promised a harsh response to his assassination.
And the Hebrew media reported earlier that the Israeli diplomatic missions in various parts of the world raised the level of security alert, against the background of the assassination of Fakhrizadeh.
