Two commissioners of the Bolivarian National Intelligence Service arrested with more than 100k marijuana
Two commissioners of the Bolivarian National Intelligence Service (Sebin) were arrested in Portuguesa state by the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) when they transported more than 100 kilos of marijuana on the José Antonio Páez highway, near the Ospino municipality.
The officials were traveling with the drug in a Toyota vehicle, Land Cruiser model, white, license plate AH892XV, coming from Barinas and bound for Caracas and were intercepted for a routine search at the La Aparición parish road control point.
The GNB minutes indicate that they loaded 181 panelas of marijuana, with a total weight of 100 kilos 715 grams, distributed in a suitcase, two pillowcases and three plastic cans with a capacity of 70 liters each. The procedure was carried out this Monday, October 26.
The detainees were identified as Enrique Torres Fadel, first commissioner of Sebin, and Héctor Maximino García Andrade, chief commissioner of the organization. Both are at the order of the Public Ministry.
