The War of “fake news, disinformation, and propaganda” on Syria: Preventing peace and reconciliation with Eva Bartlett
Eva Bartlett is a Canadian indepedent journalist and activist. She has spent years on the groound covering conflict zones in the Middle East, especially in Syria and Occupied Palestine, where she lived for nearly four years. She is a recipient of the 2017 International Journalism Award for international reporting, granted by te Mexican Journalists’ Press Club (founded in 1951), she was also the first recipient of the Serena Shim Award for Uncompromised Integrity in Journalism, and was short-listed in 2017 for the Martha Gellhorn Prize for Journalism.
Eva has spent years on the ground in the Middle East, in Syria, Palestine and Lebanon. She will be revealing her findings from her recent investigation conducted in Syria in particular Aleppo, Dara’a, Eastern Ghouta and Damascus. She will also be showcasing pictures and videos from her trip.
