At the Sary-Shagan training ground of the Strategic Missile Forces (Republic of Kazakhstan), the combat team of the air defense and anti-missile forces of the Russian Aerospace Forces successfully conducted another test launch of a new system missile Russian missile defense.
The commander of the missile defense unit of the Aerospace Forces, Major General Sergei Grabchuk, during the event, said that “the new missile defense system, after a series of tests, confirmed the inherent characteristics, and the combat crews completed successfully complete the task, reaching the conditional target with the specified accuracy”.
The missile defense system is in service with the Aerospace Forces and is designed to protect against air and space attacks.
