The ninth Conference on International Security begins in Moscow. The opening session includes speeches by Russian President Vladimir Putin and UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, who will both join via a video link.
The forum brings together Defence ministers, heads of international organizations, non-governmental experts and the world’s think-tank representatives. It has been held since 2012.
Security issues in Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Africa and Latin America are expected to be on agenda.
