This Thursday the shooting that began on Wednesday afternoon between Cota 905, El Paraíso, El Valle, El Cementerio and Quinta Crespo continued. The criminals have fired since last night towards El Paraíso and El Cementerio, especially at the tunnels to prevent vehicles from passing through, and towards Quinta Crespo.
The Minister of the Interior, Justice and Peace, Chief Admiral Carmen Meléndez gave the order.
“Since the afternoon of July 07, structured groups of organized crime intend to undermine the peace of various sectors of Caracas. Our Heroes For Peace (hashtags) will not rest until they guarantee stability and protect our people. The State Security Organizations continue to be deployed in the vulnerable areas. for these criminals and they will not rest until they have regained absolute control. ”
“In this sense, we report the deployment of a new operation to protect and safeguard our people in Caracas, specifically in neighborhoods La Vega, Santa Rosalía, El Paraíso, San Juan and El Valle. This security deployment includes traffic control in the roads surrounding these parishes, so our population is asked to avoid vehicular and pedestrian traffic ”

Venezuelan authorities announce hundreds of thousands of dollars of reward for information leading to the capture of leaders of the criminal gangs that operate in Cota 905 neighborhood.
The Venezuelan Government, chaired by Nicolás Maduro, offered on Thursday a reward for those who provide information on the location of the leaders of the criminal organization, headed by Carlos Reverte, nicknamed ‘El Koki’, which since Wednesday afternoon has been whipping several areas of the west of Caracas (the capital).
“The Ministry of Interior, Justice and Peace offers a reward to anyone who provides information on the location of the members of the criminal gang of Cota 905 in Caracas led by alias ´El Koki´”, said the Minister of Communication and Information of Venezuela, Freddy Ñáñez, in a message on the social network Twitter.
Ñáñez accompanied the message with photos of 10 members of the criminal gang requested, and for which the Executive offers a total of 1,700,000 dollars; for the ‘Koki’ the sum is 500,000 dollars.
