Tehrik-e Taliban Pakistan (TTP) militants have sparked another conflict on the Afghanistan-Pakistan border. The group’s snipers fired on the Pakistan Armed Forces border post from the territory of Afghanistan’s Kunar province. According to some reports, there are deaths among military personnel. There is still no exact information on the number of victims.
In response to the attack, the artillery of the Pakistan Armed Forces launched a series of attacks on the territory of Afghanistan, where, according to them, there were shelters and TTP training camps. According to eyewitnesses, one of the artillery mines fell on the farm. More than sixty head of cattle were affected. After that, Taliban militants joined the conflict, firing artillery from Pakistani territory.
This is far from the first incident on the Afghan-Pakistani border, the motive for which was a cross-border attack by TTP militants.
