Hipólito Abreu Minister of Transportation on Monday offered details on TAP air portugal’s case , which evidenced the breach in the international flight and airspace security procedures of Venezuela.
“In the Portuguese Tap 173 flight, a series of events occurred where the Venezuelan air authorities have investigated a series of failures that attempt against aeronautical safety and is a violation case, according to the laws of the National Institute of Civil Aviation (Inac)” he added.
In this sense, Hipólito Abreu stressed that the evidence has led to a series of evaluations and administrative processes initiated by qualified personnel of Inac to clarify this case “where a series of irregular events were found, among stands out: documents that don’t have Fumigation certification, identification of people doesn’t match the list provided by the airline, materials not qualified for transfer ”
