The Taliban occupied border northern part with Turkmenistan. The Turgundi border crossing was handed over to the Taliban along with the arms and vehicles of the surrendered border guards.
The Taliban controlled at least one border crossing into Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Iran, Pakistan and Turkmenistan. The other two countries, India and China, have yet to see the Taliban on their borders. But apparently it is a matter of time: the representative of the group affirms that they have managed to occupy 85% of Afghanistan territory .
