The Turkish company Aselsan is testing the VOLKAN-M Fire Control System
İsmail DEMİR, President of Defense Industries:, on his Twitter account, stated that they ensured the modernization of the M60TM tanks in the Turkish Armed Forces inventory and the nationalization of all its components.
Stating that, while reducing foreign dependence in this regard, they equip the tanks with upgraded high-performance systems and extend their life cycle, Demir said:
“In this context, we have started the mobile tank firing tests of the VOLKAN-M Fire Control System developed by ASELSAN. The firing from the mobile tank to the stationary targets was carried out successfully. Our objective is to qualify our new tank fire control system by the end of the year.
