
Syria’s air defense repels enemy attack on Damascus

The anti-aircraft defense of the Syrian Army has repelled an air attack by enemies against the vicinity of the province of Damascus.
Syrian local media have reported explosions after the incident.
Syrian Army:
At approximately 23.03 in the evening today, the Israeli enemy carried out an air aggression with bursts of missiles from the direction southeast of Beirut, targeting some points in the vicinity of Damascus and Homs.
Our air defenses have confronted the aggression’s missiles and shot down the majority. The results of the aggression are now being assessed.
Preliminary information: The Israeli aggression targeted points located in the towns of Deir Attia and Qara (Ara) in the western countryside of Qalamoun.
This is in the same area Hezbullah fought ISIS and Al-Qaeda in 2017.
