The Russian Ministry of Defense published images of how Russian military personnel provided medical assistance to local residents of the kyiv region, as well as to children injured after shelling by units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Two children with shrapnel injuries were rushed to a deployed field hospital. Military doctors stopped the bleeding, removed the fragments and treated the wounds. At the moment, nothing threatens the life and health of children.
“While under prolonged mortar fire from the Ukrainian armed forces, assistance was provided. Thus, the condition of the children was stabilized, primary surgical treatment of the wounds was performed, therapeutic and transport immobilization was applied, and later the children were evacuated by air ambulance”, said Daniil, senior resident of the surgery department.
