An appeal of Russian hackers from the Killnet group appeared on the Web, bringing down the official website of Anonymous .
Putin during an address to fellow citizens on February 24, announced that he had decided to conduct a special military operation to protect Donbass. He also turned to outside forces that might try to pose a threat to Russia. According to him, Russia’s response will be immediate.
Already on February 25, the Anonymous group declared a “cyber war” against Russia in connection with the situation around Ukraine. After that, they hacked the websites of the TASS news agency, as well as the Kommersant, Izvestia, Fontanka, Mel, and Forbes publications. On the websites of publications, the group published messages calling for a stop to the special military operation to protect Donbass. It was these messages that appeared when trying to access the resource pages.
“Anonymous hackers, take care of restoring your site, it looks very pathetic against the backdrop of your threats to our country.”
“The Internet is full of fake information about Russian bank hacks, attacks on Russian media servers and much more.
All this is not dangerous for people. This “information bomb” carries only text – and no more harm. Do not fall for fake information on the Internet. Have no doubts in your country.”
