It`s not the first time that Waters has pronounced on popular claims and demands, last February the musician condemned a concert promoted by millionaire Richard Branson in alleged support for the Venezuelan people.
“Nothing that`s being promoted has to do with the needs of the Venezuelan people,” said Roger Waters, who criticized the Venezuela Aid Live concert, on the Colombian-Venezuelan border.
