
Paratroopers of the glorious Bolivarian Army took, from the air, the immortal field of Carabobo as part of the preparations for the commemoration of the bicentennial of the battle that lead the independence of Venezuela.
The battle of Carabobo was one of the main military actions of the Venezuelan War of Independence within the framework of the Hispano-American Wars of Independence that took place in the Campo de Carabobo on June 24, 1821, by the patriot army against the Spanish royal army. This battle was decisive in the liberation of Caracas on June 29, as well as the rest of the Venezuelan territory after the definitive expulsion of the Spanish troops.
