️ ️ ‘Rambo de Requena’ arrested after shooting an agent and fleeing in Teruel
Spanish Civil Guard has located after an extensive search in Muniesa, Teruel, the fugitive known as ‘Rambo de Requena’. Pedro Lozano Jiménez had managed to flee after wounding a Civil Guard agent at a police checkpoint in Muniesa, Teruel, after the alert the theft of a vehicle in town.
The shooting occurred near a gas station in the Teruel town of Muniesa. The officer was conducting a check-up after receiving a notice in the morning of the theft of a white Suzuki Vitara vehicle in El Castellar when he was shot in the stomach by a man.
The wounded officer’s partner repelled the shots by opening fire, but the suspect managed to flee on foot. After this first shooting, the fugitive managed to steal a second Citroen brand vehicle to travel to Andorra, about 38 kilometers from Muniesa. Now the fugitive has been located, wanted for days for multiple violent acts.
The agent, who is stable after being shot in the abdomen, has been intubated and taken by helicopter to the Miguel Servet University Hospital in Zaragoza.
