The Chinese UDC project 075 under construction is a large unit, comparable in size in its class to the UDC of the US Navy. The length of the UDC project 075 is, according to various sources, from 235 to 250 m, and the total displacement, according to unofficial Chinese sources, is about 36 thousand tons. American UDC types Tarawa, Wasp and America have a length of 254-257 m and a total displacement of 40 to 46 thousand tons. Launched in 2019, the Italian UDC Trieste has a length of 245 m and a total displacement of 33 thousand tons
The first Type 075 was launched on September 25, 2019, and the second one on April 22, 2020. All three were built in Shanghai, according to media reports.Jan 29, 2021
