The outrage at the murder of Giovanni López by police from the municipality of Ixtlahuacán de Los Membrillos
The protest is for the death of a young man in Ixtlahuacán de los Membrillos, a month ago, at the hands of municipal police officers who arbitrarily arrested him; his family assures that it was for not wearing a mask.
The rally quickly escalated into violent, protesters burned several cars and set fire to a law enforcement officer.
Demonstrators also stormed the entrance to the State Government Palace in Guadalajara.
