Night exercises of ground forces of the Russian Federation, motorized riflemen of the Central Military District
Motorized riflemen of the Central Military District at night repulsed the attack of a simulated enemy at the Aleisky training ground in the Altai Territory.
Colonel General Alexander Lapin, commander of the Central Military District of Russia, announced today 01/19/2022 the conduct of up to 900 training maneuvers with the troops this year, 10 percent more than in 2021.
He explained that the main efforts will be aimed at developing the operational deployment of the forces with regrouping in other strategic directions, as well as the preparation and conduct of other military operations.
He noted that the practices will take place at training camps in the Urals, Siberia, the Volga region, as well as at Russian military bases in Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.
During the exercises, aspects of resolving armed conflicts and stabilizing the situation in the countries of the Central Asian region will also be worked on, said the press service of the Central Military District, the largest in the country.
