The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, lamented the interference position assumed by the leaders of Brazil, Jair Bolsonaro and Colombia, Iván Duque, who maintain a policy of aggressions against Venezuela in obedience to US imperialism.
In a press conference offered from Miraflores Palace, the president described as “throw rocks ” the policy promoted by Duque in the field of international relations with Venezuela and reiterated his call to cease in this capacity and initiate an approach process “respectful” between both nations.
“Iván Duque has fallen into the worst of the ideological extremism of the right. Iván Duque is not a statesman because he acts as if he were throwing stones from the local politics of any town, and has broken the elementary rules of diplomacy,” he denounced .
He then accused Brazilian president, Jair Bolsonaro, of being an active promoter of terrorist plans and actions against people and Government of Venezuela, so he warned the military forces of the Carioca nation not to be dragged into a war.
“Jair Bolsonaro is behind terrorist threats against Venezuela and is dragging Brazilian Armed Forces into an armed conflict against Venezuela. Now I ask, Are the Brazilian military going to be dragged into a meaningless armed conflict? I don’t think so, but I’m alert, “he said.
