Nuevo Jefe del Estado Mayor General de la Armada Mexicana Almirante Juan José Padilla Olmos
Mexico City.- The Secretary of the Navy-Navy of Mexico informs that, in a solemn and significant ceremony, the Delivery-Reception of the position of Chief of the General Staff of the Navy was carried out, by Secretarial Agreement, an action that alludes to to the permanent rotation of the personnel, with the purpose that this Institution continues with the fulfillment of its mission and attributions.
The act took place in the headquarters building of the Secretary of the Navy, receiving the position as Chief of the General Staff of the Navy to Admiral Juan José Padilla Olmos, by delivery of Admiral Luis Javier Robinson Portillo Villanueva, with the intervention of Admiral José Luis Arellano Ruíz, Undersecretary of the Navy.
It should be noted that Admiral Padilla Olmos is originally from the State of Aguascalientes. He entered the Heroica Escuela Naval Militar on August 28, 1978, graduating as a Midshipman in 1982.
