On July 14 – Aug. 3,, the multinational military exercises Saber Junction 2020 started in Hohenfels, Germany, in which servicemen from 17 countries are involved, Saber Junction 20 is a 7th Army Training Command-conducted, U.S. Army Europe-directed annual exercise designed to assess the readiness of the U.S. Army’s 173rd Airborne Brigade to execute unified land operations in a joint, combined environment and to promote interoperability with participating ally and partner nations.
Approximately 2,600 Soldiers will deploy for this training – 1,900 moving from Italy and 700 moving from various locations in Germany.
