Moscow announced that it had developed a lethal weapon by taking advantage of the experiences of the Syrian war.
The Russian Military Industrialization Corporation “Rostec” stated it is working on producing a modern engine for what is known as the “Night Hunter” helicopter, after benefiting from the errors learned as a result of its use in Syria.
Russian media quoted the CEO of the helicopter engine manufacturing company, Alexander Vatagin, as saying the “VK2500B” engine for the aforementioned helicopter was manufactured with great capabilities.
Russia introduced the helicopter known as the “Night Hunter” in the Syrian war at the end of 2015, with the start of its intervention in the global war against Syria, and used it in the first battle of Kafr Nabudah and in the northern Homs countryside and Latakia countryside against terrorist groups.
