The Minister of Defense of Ukraine Andriy Taran said that during the visit of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to Turkey on October 15-17, an agreement on military cooperation will be signed between Kiev and Ankara.
The draft of the agreement was accepted during a government session, Yevropeyskaya Pravda reports.
Minister of Defense Andrey Taran, who is authorized to sign the agreement on behalf of Ukraine, says the adoption of the draft agreement will create a legal ground for expansion of bilateral cooperation in the defense sector in 21 directions.
During President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s visit to Ukraine in February, the parties agreed on military aid and supplies of AN-178.
