Taxpayers’ money from these NATO member countries in military equipment allegedly in “Aid to Ukraine” 150.8 Billion, and Zelensky wants more. When these figures are heard, it is normal for politicians to publicly declare that in this proxy war, the so-called new NATO PMC will have to fight until the last Ukrainian.
Total military aid to kyiv exceeds the defense budgets of Russia and Ukraine. The sum of the cost of military shipments of all kinds of weapons systems for the “defense” of Ukraine made by the United States and NATO countries exceeds the annual military spending of kyiv and Moscow.
More than ten months after Russia launched the special operation in Ukraine, Western military aid steadily pouring into kyiv from NATO countries and the United States has reached record numbers.
The total amount of that aid represents three times Ukraine’s defense budget for the current fiscal year. More significant, however, is the fact that total Western military aid will soon close the gap with Russia’s 2022 defense budget, which data puts at $90.9 billion; and this budget includes other operations abroad.
Based on official statements from donor countries and media estimates, the report claims that the total amount of aid Ukraine has received from Western states and international organizations since the start of the special operation is more than US$150.8 billion which is almost three times larger than the planned Ukrainian budget of US$55 billion.
This observation aligns with Russian President Vladimir Putin‘s earlier assertion that “almost all of the major NATO nations’ military capabilities are being aggressively exploited against Russia.” Furthermore, Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu claimed that his country was not involved in a battle in Ukraine with the kyiv army, but with the collective West, Russia’s permanent representative to the United Nations, Vasili Nebenzia, declared that Ukraine has become a private military company owned by NATO, ready to fulfill all its tasks.
