Mexico City Protest at the U.S. Embassy against police brutality.
Dozens of people have demonstrated in front of the US embassy in Mexico against the murder of the African American George Floyd by a white police officer.
The outraged, with their faces covered, have thrown stones, glass bottles and Molotov bombs around the facilities of the diplomatic headquarters, located in the central Reforma avenue, in Mexico City (the capital).
According to videos published this Friday on social medias, young people hit metal fences that protect the main entrance of the diplomatic building and throw homemade explosives at the back of the compound.

In addition, protesters have destroyed with stones and hammers several banks, hotels and shops that are in Reforma Avenue, in addition to carrying out graffiti on walls with aerosols.
“The US Has the Deadliest Police Culture in the Modern World”
Prior to the march, the United States embassy had issued an alert in this regard. “As in all these types of rallies, even protests that claim to be peaceful can become combative and escalate towards violence, it is recommended to avoid areas where there are demonstrations and exercise caution,” warns the official message.
Since the footage that showed how a police officer put his knee on Floyd’s neck until he suffocated him in Minneapolis, Minnesota, protests have erupted across the United States against police violence and racism. These complaints have also been registered in various capitals of the world.
The case has revealed that the violence comes from the White House itself, whose current tenant, Donald Trump, has incited the use of force and militarization to control the protests.
