Who? the Philippine Manny Pacquiao will run for President of his country.
This was stated by his former promoter Bob Arum,
during a video chat with World Boxing Council President Mauricio Sulaiman. “I had a Zoom call with him (Manny) and he said, ‘Bob, I’m going to run in 2022 and when I win, I want to see you at my investiture ceremony.'”
“Pacman” has held a seat since 2009 in the Philippine House of Representatives, while in 2016 he became a senator after receiving more than 16 million votes.
The presidential elections will be held in May 2022 when the athlete will be 43 years old.
