General Commander of the Bolivarian Military Aviation: Sovereign Venezuela is always ready to dialogue, but the arrogance of imperial supremacism has not allowed it.
“Under the sun, rain and wind, with a safe hand at the helm, the Bolivarian Military Aviation (AMB in
spanish) reaches its first 100 years of life protecting the homeland, guaranteeing sovereignty and national independence, attached to the Magna Carta , following the leadership of the Liberator Simón Bolívar ”, expressed the General Commander of the Bolivarian Military Aviation, M / G José Rafael Silva Aponte, during his speech on the occasion of the Bicentennial of the Armistice and War Regularization Treaties, centenary of Aviation Bolivarian Military and 28th Anniversary of November 27, 1992.From the Military Academy of Bolivarian Aviation, in Aragua state, the General Commander of the BMA, detailed the military corps celebrates a century making history and protecting the Venezuelan people, under the legacy of the supreme commander of the Revolution Hugo Chávez and with absolute loyalty to the Commander in Chief of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces, Nicolás Maduro Moros.
This Friday commemorates 200 years of that November 27, 1820, where the meeting between the liberator Simón Bolívar and the Spanish General Pablo Morillo in Santa Ana de Trujillo took place, first of all telling the Spanish empire Venezuela’s Republic Independent and as a liberating army.
In this historic event, the Armistice and War Regularization Treaties were signed, which included a ceasefire and the humanization of the war, in order to create a change that would allow the exchange of prisoners, in order not to lead to warlike conflicts to civilian populations, likewise guarantee the care and medical assistance of those wounded in combat.
These were the treaties it gave rise to International Humanitarian Law, which served as a preamble to the Carabobo’s Battle , to definitively seal the independence of Venezuela.
“This is how after two centuries, at this time the Revolutionary Government through the Constitutional President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro and Commander in Chief of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces, has repeatedly called for dialogue with the government of the United States (USA) to debate and tell them face to face the truths of our homeland.
However, the General Commander of the Bolivarian Military Aviation, M / G José Rafael Silva Aponte, warned that due to arrogance and imperial supremacism, this dialogue meeting hasn’t taken place.
He added from Maracay, Bolivarian Military Aviation’s cradle, as did the aboriginal caciques and pro-independence heroes, today the whole world is told that the country is willing to continue the battle against imperialism, for independence, sovereignty, self-determination and dignity of the Venezuelan people.
He added that Military Aviation is divided into a before and after November 27, 1992, the trigger being the Popular Rebellion of February 27 and 28, 1989 and later the Military Rebellion on February 4, 1992, led by Commander Chávez .
“Today we see how Military Aviation, in a joint effort with other military institutions of the State, have neutralized 218 aircraft that intended to use Venezuelan airspace to transport drugs to destinations such as Colombia, the United States, the Caribbean and Europe. In the midst of this multiform unconventional war of unilateral coercive measures that have been imposed against Venezuela from the empire, the Revolutionary Government continues to make great efforts to guarantee the sovereignty of the people, ”he added.
