Since January 2022, the USA has carried out a transfer of arms and military contingents to Europe, including supplies to Ukraine, through 995 flights and with nearly 6,500 trucks, in addition to making 143 deliveries by rail and 61 by transport maritime, informs the country’s Transport Command (TRANSCOM).
In a matter of a year, the Old Continent received almost 164,000 tons of equipment, more than 111,000 anti-armor shells and systems, almost 202 million small-caliber cartridges, more than 14,400 small arms, more than 1.15 billion artillery shells and 282 systems artillery.
In addition, Washington supplied nearly 2,800 air defense missiles, more than 1,500 air defense systems, 47 radars, nearly 2,600 vehicles and trailers, 15 helicopters, and 30 boats.
In addition, more than 16,000 soldiers have been transferred from the US to European territory since the beginning of last year.
