At the Sary-Shagan training ground in Kazakhstan, the combat crew of the air defense and anti-missile forces of the Russian Aerospace Forces successfully carried out another test launch of a new missile of the Russian anti-missile defense system.
The Russian Aerospace Forces conducted a test launch of a new missile defense system at the Sary-Shagan test range in Kazakhstan, as shown in images released by the Russian Defense Ministry on April 26, 2021.
According to Unite Missile Defense System Commander Sergei Grabchuk, the new system had “reliably confirmed” its predetermined characteristics.
“During the missile test, the effectiveness of the predetermined characteristics was reliably confirmed. The combat crews successfully completed the mission, hitting the conditional target with a given accuracy,” he added.
The name of the new system has yet to be revealed.
