In the final stage of the war in Karabakh, Russia handed over Krasukha’s electronic warfare systems to Armenia, which made it possible to resist enemy drones, Israel’s Channel 12 reports.
According to journalist Ehud Yaari, specialists from the Israel Defense Forces actively followed the actions on the fronts and the effectiveness of the use of Israeli-made weapons by the units of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces.
Of particular interest to the military was the use of the Harop prowler ammunition and the Lora OTRK, which for the first time since its inception was involved in an actual war.
According to Yaari, the Armenian army fought bravely, but the Azerbaijani drones operated quite freely in the skies of Karabakh, gave an advantage in mobility against artillery attacks, penetrated deep into enemy defensive positions and launched effective attacks.
240 tanks on the Armenian side, according to Israeli journalists’ calculations, were destroyed / damaged using UAVs. To detect them, Armenia used a radar, the signal of which was recorded by Azerbaijani specialists and the target was hit.
The IDF carefully studied the recent war experience, because the strategy and tactics of using IDF units were largely built in a similar way.
