Air alert sirens resounded this Thursday in several cities south of “Israel”, bordering the Gaza Strip, the country’s Defense Forces reported.
Shortly after, six projectiles were detected being fired, five of which were intercepted and the last one “fell in an open area,” according to the IDF.
Earlier, Israeli media reported on the high probability of receiving shelling from Gaza citing “revenge operations by lone attackers” as the main reason.
On this point, the occupation forces issued a state of alert throughout the security establishment to face the possibility of reprisals from the West Bank, occupied Jerusalem or rocket fire from Gaza.
The Palestinian resistance would be responding to the recent Zionist aggression in the old city of Nablus where at least 11 Palestinians died.
