The “Newsweek” outlet published after the recent failed attack in Isfahan:
Iranian officials told Newsweek that any US military option against Iran would lead to an all-out conflict with nationwide consequences in the region.
From Iran’s point of view, resorting to the military option at any level means that the United States is going to war. Currently, Iran considers such a possibility to be weak.
If the United States makes a miscalculation and starts a war, the consequences of this conflict for the region and the world will be borne by Washington itself. There is no doubt that Iran has the ability to defend its security and interests.
A Pentagon spokesperson also told this US publication: We have seen the news reports, but we can confirm that no US military forces have carried out attacks or operations inside Iran.
Newsweek also reached out to officials from the Zionist regime’s War Ministry and asked them about the recent failed attack on the Iranian Defense Ministry facility, but they did not respond positively to the interview request.
