Brigadier General Hatami affirms cooperation with Syria in the reconstruction phase
The Minister of Defense and the Support of the Iranian Armed Forces, Brigadier General Amir Hatami, affirmed the Islamic Republic’s determination to continue cooperation with Syria in the stage of reconstruction.
During his meeting with Syrian Foreign Minister Faisal Al-Miqdad in Tehran today, Tuesday, Brigadier General Wahidi congratulated him on the occasion of his appointment to this position, condoling the death of the former Syrian Foreign Minister Walid Al-Muallem, calling on Almighty Al-Bari for mercy and forgiveness.
The Minister of Defense indicated that the enemy didn’t hesitate to take any action against the Iranian people, pointing out that this was the case by the enemy against the Syrian people in recent years.
He referred to the two treacherous assassinations against the martyr Lt. Gen. Qassem Soleimani and Dr. Fakhri Zadeh, adding: These hostile measures by the enemy come out of impotence.
For his part, the Syrian Foreign Minister condemned, during the meeting, the recent terrorist act of assassinating the prominent Iranian nuclear and defense scientist, the martyr Dr. Mohsen Fakhri Zadeh.
He considered the continuation of the Islamic Republic of Iran and its armed forces the path of progress despite the aggressive practices of America and the Zionist entity, as a source of pride, stressing that such assassinations did not stop Iran in the path of scientific and defense progress.
In conclusion, the Syrian Foreign Minister signed the condolences register, citing Fakhri Zadeh.
