A cylinder bomb, which was installed since the early morning of Wednesday, October 27, 2021, together with a flag of the National Liberation Army (ELN), put the inhabitants who travel along the 57 kilometer road between Banco de Arena and Puerto Santander, Norte de Santander, Colombia. After two days, neither the Army nor the Police approached the place to verify its content and deactivate it.
This is the second explosive device left in this area. On October 19, an improvised explosive device cylinder bomb was installed on the same bridge, in the middle of the road, and was activated when an Army drone flew over the site in the afternoon.
