Statement by Hezbullah’s parliamentary delegation after meeting MFA Lavrov in Moscow:
– We thanked Lavrov for his invitation to discuss the situation in the region. We affirmed the need to expedite the formation of the government in Lebanon according to the will of the Lebanese people. The views were very close in this file. Russia is not required to form the government in Lebanon, but it urges the creation of conditions for its formation.
– Russia talks with all the parties that have a relationship with the Syrian file to enhance security and the return of the displaced. We discussed the details of the situation related to the Russian vaccine and the conditions of students studying in Russia.
– We discussed the policy pursued by the new US administration that rejects fair solutions to end crises.
– Cooperation in confronting terrorism resulted in sacrifices that led to the development of relations, especially regional and local ones.
– The Russian presence in the region constitutes a kind of balance at the international level.
