On December 15 afternoon, the kidnapping of a merchant of Asian origin was reported when he was in a supermarket he owned in Ciudad Ojeda, Lagunillas municipality, where several subjects break through carrying bulletproof vests and long weapons.
Unofficially, it was learned that the subjects used a black Jeep Cherokee truck to take the victim, known as Tommy, from the Popular Supermarket on Av. Cristobal Colón, Ciudad Ojeda, in the direction of Cabimas, Zulia state.
Commissions of the CONAS ( Anti-extortion and Kidnapping National Command of the Bolivarian National Guard) have managed to release the Asian merchant Chak Mun Tang Ng (45), who was kidnapped on December 15 at the supermarket he owned in Ciudad Ojeda.
Presumably the liberation would have been achieved on highway G, with avenue 64, in the Tía Juana sector, on the night of December 21 after carrying out intelligence work in the sector.
It is presumed that the kidnappers would be members of the gang led by Adrián Rodríguez, alias “el Adriancito”, who operate in the state of Zulia
